FAQs

We know that visiting the dentist is not always an experience people enjoy, and that you may have questions you would like to ask us before visiting. The questions below cover some of our most commonly asked questions from patients.

What separates you from other dental practices?

Dental Solutions is a private dental practice that focuses on personalised patient care. Our aim is to provide the most current, painless and cost-effective treatment in a relaxed and professional environment. We like to get to know our patients to develop a level of trust that is not commonly found in dentistry.

What solutions can you offer?

We can offer a full spectrum of dental care including preventative, conservative, endodontic, cosmetic, surgical and implant dentistry. We operate a zero-amalgam policy, so only provide tooth coloured fillings.

How long have you been practicing?

Our principal dentist, Dr Anthony Cooper, has over 30 years’ experience, and has specialised in Implant Dentistry for his whole career.

Are you a private or NHS dentist?

Dental Solutions is a private dental practice.

What are the likely costs of my treatment?

Many factors need to be taken into consideration before a fee can be determined. We believe that our fees are competitive, especially when you consider the level of experience we have in our areas of specialisation. We do offer dental plans, which provide a way to pay monthly for routine care – see our Fees & Finance page.

How do I prevent dental problems in the future?

We recommend regular check-ups every 6 months. The advantage for you is that it should reduce the need for more expensive treatment in the future.

Can children attend your practice?

We are happy to provide for the dental needs of the whole family!

Will it hurt?

We know that not everyone enjoys coming to the dentist, but are happy to let you read some of the Recommendations we have received, which demonstrate that our record is excellent in putting patients at their ease. We do offer sedation to settle people who have anxiety and aim to make it as pleasant and painless an experience as possible.
